In keeping with the teachings of our Lord Jesus Christ, we are to "Stand up for those who are weak
and for those whose fathers have died. See to it that those who are poor and those who are beaten
down are treated fairly". Psalm 82:3 (New International Reader's Version).
Compassion:
CWI believes that children are the hope of all humanity and it is then up to us adults to give them a
renew trust in the future so that they may play a leading and responsible roles in their societies for
tomorrow.
Collaboration:
We also believe that through working with other NGOs, religious groups, churches, government
agencies and local and international organizations and the communities, we will ensure that the
issues faced by street children get the proper attention they deserve and to encourage governments,
NGOs, Churches and civil society to recognize the impact of the war, violence, disease and neglect
faced by children living on the streets.

CWI helps children build their self esteem, gain access to their rights, and develop the skills to
break out of poverty and create a better future for themselves, their families and communities. But
keeping them alive is only the first step,cause it is well known that unless a child has a caring adult
to love him and teach him life skills, social behavior and morals that he needs, his mental and
emotional development will be impaired.

Children's Welfare International is a Christian faith based non-profit organization founded in the
state of Washington in order to break the cycle of war experienced by children during the civil war.
As a faith-based organization, all of our activities are couple with teachings of our Lord Jesus
Christ. In this regard, We provide Christian education and Bible studies for children who might be
